WE LOVE KIDS!
Vincent Church offers programs for children age 2 through high school. Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have fun doing it. All children come into worship in the Sanctuary with their family through the Children’s Message. Then they go to their age-appropriate room with their trained volunteer for their Bible lesson and related craft and game.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Have no fear! Speak to one of our Greeters or Ushers and they will introduce you to our Sunday School Superintendent or Volunteers. They will warmly welcome you and your child, show you and your child their Sunday School room, introduce you to some of the other children and parents, and answer any questions you may have. We can’t wait to meet you!
SAFETY
Sunday School volunteers are all trained to provide a safe environment where parents can confidently send their children to class while they remain in the worship service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and security protocols are in place. Don’t worry parents - we’ve got this covered.
WHAT WE TEACH
Your kids will experience an age-appropriate lesson that will teach them about God. God’s love for them, and how to live that our in their lives. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The curriculum we use is “Deep Blue Kids” from Cokesbury. The goal at Vincent Sunday School is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives and in the world. They will also have a lot of fun!
Other Family Programs
At Vincent Church, we love to have family fun! In addition to our Sunday School, we have several family events each year. They include the Blessing of the Backpacks, a Trunk or Treat for the community, a Christmas Family Night, an Easter Bunny Breakfast, and an Easter Egg Hunt. All children and families are welcome!
